Like most of the other reviewers said, this product is non-greasy and sinks right into the skin. Living in a hot and humid city, this is great as it doesnt leave the skin oily.. skin is smooth soft and supple. The 'glow' probably comes from the tiny tiny shiny stuff thats in the product.
Overall great product.. but its just something i use like clinique moisture surge.. just something to hydrate the skin.. In winter, i really doubt if this will be enough. But yes, i will be buying it again for the summers.

this is my HG face cream. i use the one for combination skin and i prefer the bottle version with the pump. it has a gel consistency wich i adore, absorbs in really quickly, and leaves my skin sooooo smoooooth!!! the scent of this cream is also very good, fruity but no overpowering.
    love, love, love

I have to say I quite like this product (I use the one for dry skin). It doesn't break me out, the consistency is just perfect and it smells divine. I even love that it comes in a pump bottle because I hate jars, especially glass jars, knowing how clumsy I tend to be.
Anyways, The only con is that it isn't hydrating enough for my very dehydrated- combination-sensitive-breakout prone skin. My skin feels nice and soft for a couple of hours before I start feeling all dry and patchy again.
But meh, most moisturizers don't really work that well for me anyways, they're always either too greasy or too light in consistency or too weird-smelling or whatever. I add a layer of petroleum jelly over this moisturizer on the parts of my face that tend to get rough and patchy, and it helps prolong the hydrating-effects. So yeah, I'd buy this again, it's my night-time moisturizer.

I like the pump bottle, moisturiser and smell (so pretty!) but I wouldn't buy it again because it just didn't do much for me.
It didn't feel like my skin was hydrated and I don't think my signs of tiredness faded at all, boo.
My skin did feel really soft though - just like a peach!

They seem to have discontinued this in NZ, because I haven't been able to find it anywhere for a while, which really disappoints me as I used to LOVE the stuff. Has a fantastic fragrance, didn't clog my pores, worked as well on the oily parts as the normal parts. I highly recommend this if you can get a hold of it as it's a very underrated moisturiser!
Oh how I miss that little pink bottle :< continued >>

not at all happy with this! i bought it 2 years ago because it was cheaper than other high end brands and thought i'd give it a try. it said it was for sensitive-dry skin and i thought it would be moisturizing enough for winter time since i have a combination skin! but that was not the case! moisture lasted for an hour or so(!) plus i never saw it doing any of the promised glow this was supposed to give...
it has a very nice smell though and didnt break me out either.
maybe this is more appropriate for summer time or for teens...but for me it didnt work..

I purchased the one for dry and sensitive skin hoping that it would be moisturizing enough for my very dry skin. When i first applied it to my face i thought that it did the job. But a few hours later my skin returned to its dry condition. I tried using it with my Simple rich moisturiser at night times but i woke up with my skin feeling tight and flakey.

It worked okay as a day time moisturiser if i used it with another moisturiser but i would have to use a lot of it. Had a very nice smell and wonderful packaging :)

I bought this to keep in my desk at work. I needed something that would give me a little moisture when the aircon got too extreme. You know it's taken a year to get through it and I have to say it's nothing special.
I tend to use it on my dry legs and my arms and hands when I've realised I look like I have scaly crocodile legs.
I think the whole promotion of this as 'happy' is the point here - it's pink and in a little cutesy bottle and yet tries to be sophisticated in it's description of how it works. It just doesn't cut it for me, and I think after this I'll try for something that comes across as being more practical.
The scent is fairly strong and I wouldn't want to use it as my daily moisturiser because it would easily out-pong the rest of my face products. It's not an unpleasant scent, simply a little strong for the product.
The texture is ok - light and easy to spread. It soaks or dries fairly quickly too. I say dries because for some reason it seems as if it has alcohol or something in it. I couldn't say exactly but it seems too light to me.
The packaging is reasonable but I'm left with a good 1cm of product down the bottom of the little bottle that I have to access by doing the old unscrew and poke method.
Look, this has been handy to keep at work because it dries easily and isn't sticky but i really wonder whether it's doing anything at all apart from being pink.

I bought this moisturizer in the version for dry and sensitive skin. I have both dry AND sensitive skin in the past 6 months or so but this product has not made my skin very happy though. It caused me really bad acne and irritation. I will never ever buy this again.

I wanted to try this moisturizer from the beginning, but I have a long wishlist, so it took some time before I could try this! I love the scent of this moisturizer, it smells very fresh. The texture is light en you need just 1 pump to do your whole face. What I dislike about the product, is the price. The price is somewhere between 10 till 12,50 euros, depending on where you buy it. Overall I love this product, And would buy again.

I got this on sale because it was being discontinued.. and now i know why. I bought the normal to oily with SPF 15. The only reason why i bought this is because the description sounded really promising! okay, it was cheap too. can't lie.
I thought it would smell pretty and feminine because it came in a cute little pink bottle but nope.. what you get is this strong displeasing smell of alcohol... total turn off.
I disregarded the smell because it was really smooth upon application and did the job of keeping my skin moisturized. I did notice some shiny microscopic particles in it but no one else did. However, after using it for a few days i began to break out on my cheeks so i figure it was clogging my pores. I gave it to my sister since moisturizers work differently of different people. she has dry skin and she said that this made her skin feel sooo tight so she couldn't use it either.
    I wouldnt buy this again.

I am currently using this and i am not very impressed with it, so i will wait until i finish it up and try another moisturizer. the good thing about it, is that it's not greasy and is absorbed quickly, but the thing is it is not moisturizing enough and i seem to have a really hard time in finding a balanced moisturizer for my combination skin which will be not greasy but moisturizing enough..sigh :( any suggestions?

I love this moisturiser!! It smells great, makes my skin feel soft and doesn't break me out. It actually primes my skin really well for makeup-my foundation goes over it so smoothly and my foundation seems to last longer too. The pump bottle is great-very hygenic and the size lasts me a couple of months. For NZ$20 it's fantastic!!

I needed a new moisturizer, this one was on sale. Generally, I'm not a fan of loreal, however their advertising program really seems to be effective... So I bought it, normal to combination skin version. Surprisingly I am quite pleased! It absorbs very fast without leaving any residue, my skin instantly feels tight, fresh and moisturised. It gives a slight sheen to the skin and it seems to help the makeup stay put. What I love the most is the smell, it smells like roses and champagne. However it could be a little less intense :)
    I would buy again.

Great stuff! Smell, texture, packaging, price: it's all there. I'm still young and don't have particularly problematic skin, so I can't say this stuff does anything majorly impressive, but I find it an effective, extremely pleasant moisturiser. The whole Clarins-technique of patting on moisturiser is also outlined in the Happyderm insert; they apparently belong to the same company, which gives me renewed confidence in L'Oreal (Clarins is the BEST)! I think if you actually did the patting-routine, Happyderm would certainly make you feel all tingly and happy and well. The smell greatly contributes: it's slightly boozy, sweet and interesting, unlike any others I've smelled.

This is my new everyday mositurizer. Unlike the majority of drugstore and high end products, Happyderm actually does the job of moisturizing my skin. This is the first cream that doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight and about to tear off my head, seriously. All I have is INCREDIBLY soft and evenly moisturized skin, evenly being they keyword here. I have combination skin, and my t-zone is very dry and quite oily at the same time. Using a heavier moisturizer will have my makeup slip off in no time, and lighter ones for oily skin are not enough for the dryiness. Happyderm (tacky name and unbelievably weird promises about my skin smiling back at me and stuff, blah) seems to keep oil at bay and mositurize at the same time. I’m not getting flaky and painful anymore, and makeup glides on so much better, there is a world of difference. I’d definitely recommend this moisturizer to all of us suffering from skin that is oily but very dry on the surface!
I didn’t notice anything about the glitter (though mica is listed among the ingredients), I haven’t broken out, I haven’t developed new wrinkles. And I love the smell, it’s a mix of roses and champagne. Smelling it every morning makes repurchasing this cream soo much worth it.

Impressive. i got this in the normal to combination skin formula and i am very happy with it. For a low price at about AUD$15 this did the job of moisturising my acne prone skin without breaking me out. I love the heavenly scent, the non greasy texture and the illuminating particles. I am also a big fan of its pump bottle which you can lock, very hygienic. Overall this is a great moisturiser, but nothing too special. I take 1 lippie off for no SPF. I would repurchase

I first got this as a sample from the L'Oreal club, but immediately I went out to buy it. I didn't get any breakouts from this product, it just went on so smoothly, it really did brighten up my skin, and its great even before going to sleep. It leaves my skin really supple, my favourite cutesy moisturiser!
